Terra Trattoria began its journey in 2020 as a humble food stall, bringing authentic Italian flavours to markets, festivals, and events across London. By 2021, our growing reputation led us to establish a permanent storefront, and by 2023, Terra had evolved into a thriving catering service, delivering our signature cuisine to clients around the world.

From the very beginning, our philosophy has been simple yet uncompromising: every dish is crafted by the owners’ own hands. Our menu is a celebration of Italian culinary tradition, featuring handcrafted pastas, rich ragùs, arancini, creamy risottos, artisanal focaccias, vibrant grazing boards, and indulgent desserts. Each creation is lovingly homemade, bursting with fresh, authentic flavour.

We are committed to sourcing produce locally wherever possible, with one exception: our exceptional cheeses, which are imported directly from Italy to ensure the truest taste. In keeping with our values, we are offering a sustainable, ethical, and deeply satisfying dining experience.

ALEX & HANNAH

Alex and Hannah first met on a full-moon evening in 2020. Both had grown up surrounded by nature, Hannah in the rolling fields of Cambridgeshire, and Alex in Italy, embraced by mountains and a lakeside landscape, before their paths crossed in London. United by a shared passion for life, learning, and love, their meeting quickly blossomed into both a personal and professional partnership.

With Alex as the visionary and strategist, and Hannah as the creative culinary force, the pair set out to bring their shared dream to life. Hannah immersed herself in a pasta-making course, dedicating countless hours to perfecting her craft through experimentation and practice. Meanwhile, Alex laid the foundations for a local delivery business during the UK lockdowns.

What began as home-prepared meals evolved into a bustling food stall at street markets, festivals, and events, eventually leading to the opening of a Terra restaurant in London. Today, Alex and Hannah channel their expertise into offering premium catering services, delivering exceptional vegetarian and plant-based Italian cuisine for clients across the globe.
